Description
The Defibtech Lifeline Trainer is a special AED training device that looks the same on the outside as the “real” Defibtech Lifeline AED. The casing of the AED trainer is partially red for identification.
The device cannot actually be used to defibrillate patients and cannot deliver a shock. This AED Trainer is used to familiarize trainees with the functions and operation of a real Defibtech Lifeline AED. Various resuscitation scenarios can be practiced using specially programmed training software. An SD card is not required. The AED instructor can easily call up the scenarios with a remote control. It is possible to control up to 4 AED trainers in a class with one remote control. Practice can be conducted in both semi-automatic mode (administering the shock oneself) and fully automatic mode (the AED administers the shock).
