Description
Medical quality burn wound dressing that is saturated with a cooling gel. This gel is made according to a patented scientific formula. The wound is cooled immediately after applying the Burnshield dressing, preventing further damage to the already affected tissue.
Burnshield is a first aid product for the initial treatment of burn injuries. It is a so-called hydrogel made from pure demineralized water, disinfecting Tea Tree oil, and a medicinal gel-forming agent. It is thicker than water and does not evaporate.
Burnshield can be used as an alternative in locations where there is no water available and as a supplement to cooling with (preferably) lukewarm water. The principle of heat extraction is applied in Burnshield.
The burn is cooled by transferring the heat from the damaged skin to the hydrogel. Subsequently, the heat is not retained in the gel but released to the surrounding environment. The heat from the burn is therefore transferred away quickly. A layer of WaterJel dressing shields the burn from harmful bacteria, preventing infections.
Burnshield burn gel does not contain chemical and pain-relieving agents but is solely based on natural products, ensuring safe and effective operation in treating thermal burns
