Description
A fixation bandage must meet many requirements. It should provide reliable fixation that does not shift, while not restricting the patient’s freedom of movement. Gazofix offers more. It is a skin-colored, self-adhesive elastic fixation bandage that is easy to apply and has good supportive properties.
Features
The material of Gazofix consists of cotton and polyamide. Due to impregnated micro-drops of natural latex, the bandage sticks to itself but not to the skin or hair. Additionally, Gazofix is elastic, allowing for simple and quick application of larger and more complex dressings.
The polyamide fibers do not lose their elasticity even with prolonged use, enabling Gazofix to be used continuously without wrinkling. Thanks to its self-adhesive nature, the layers only need to be applied with one-third overlap, which can save a lot of material. Gazofix can be sterilized in an autoclave or by using gas. Gazofix is individually packed in cellophane.
