Description
The absorbent (moisture-absorbing) capacity promotes keeping the wound surface dry. Cotton wool is very suitable for applying moisture-absorbing and moisture-retaining wound dressings. They are always used under hydrophilic bandages, but should never be placed directly on the wound.
