Description
The absorbent (moisture-absorbing) capacity promotes keeping the wound surface dry. Cotton wool is very suitable for creating moisture-absorbing and moisture-retaining wound dressings. It is always used underneath hydrophilic bandages but should never be placed directly on the wound.
