The Plum eye rinse contains a sterile sodium chloride solution (0.9%), which corresponds to the natural salt content of the eye. This prevents the entry of germs and bacteria that can lead to eye infections. Rinsing with non-sterile liquids (e.g., tap water) does not provide this guarantee.
Injuries caused by metal or wood splinters, dust, and dirt, etc. also make time a crucial factor. With these injuries, timely use of the eye rinse solution can prevent harmful particles from remaining in the eye, thus avoiding severe eye damage. Clear instructions for use and illustrations are provided on the label.
