Description
CO2 extinguishers are suitable for extinguishing liquid fires (fire class B) and fires in electrically energized equipment. The greatest advantage of a carbon dioxide snow extinguisher is that the extinguishing agent (CO2) leaves no residues upon use. The CO2 gas suffocates the fire and then dissolves in the surrounding air. Consequently, it does not cause damage to sensitive equipment and materials. CO2 is therefore used, among other things, for high-quality electronic equipment where water-based extinguishing agents, such as spray foam, cannot be used.
Application: high voltage installations, computer rooms, laboratories, graphic industry, kitchens, etc.
