Description
Hydrocoll is an absorbent, self-adhesive hydrocolloid dressing equipped with a semi-permeable, bacterial-resistant, and waterproof polyurethane film. When wound exudate is absorbed into the hydrocolloid, a gel is formed, creating a moist wound environment. The gel absorbs until the hydrocolloid is saturated. It promotes granulation and epithelialization. It can be removed without irritating the wound.
