Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive made of zinc oxide rubber provides strong and long-lasting adhesion, even under significant tension.
Moreover, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive of Leukoplast has been made air- and water vapor-permeable through a special process. This prevents an airtight seal, keeps the skin from macerating, and helps to prevent other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for use on patients with normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive bandage makes Leukoplast suitable for securing all sizes of dressings and pads. The bandage is easy to unwind and can be easily torn by hand, despite its high tensile strength. Leukoplast is water-repellent.
