Leukofix is a transparent adhesive plaster made of perforated polyethylene film. The hypoallergenic adhesive mass made of polyacrylate provides strong and long-lasting adhesion. The adhesive plasters are well tolerated by individuals with sensitive skin. The flexible film conforms well to body contours, making Leukofix highly suitable for use on moving body parts.
Leukofix also offers reliable fixation for extended periods. The plaster can be easily torn lengthwise, crosswise, and from the center by hand. Since the adhesive plaster is perforated, Leukofix allows air and water vapor to pass through, which prevents maceration of the skin.
Furthermore, Leukofix can be removed painlessly, leaving no adhesive residue behind. It can be removed almost painlessly from hairy skin as well. Because Leukofix does not contain radiation-absorbing components, there is no need to remove the adhesive plaster during radiological examinations or radiation therapies. Additionally, the plaster does not engage in any chemical reactions with rubbers or plastics.
