Leukofix is a transparent adhesive plaster made from perforated polyethylene film. The hypoallergenic adhesive of polyacrylate provides good and long-lasting adhesion. The adhesive plasters are well tolerated by individuals with sensitive skin.
The flexible film adapts well to body contours, making Leukofix highly suitable for use on moving body parts. Leukofix also offers reliable fixation for extended periods.
The plaster can be easily torn by hand in length, width, and from the center. Because the adhesive plaster is perforated, Leukofix allows air and water vapor to pass through, preventing skin maceration. Furthermore, Leukofix can be removed painlessly, leaving no adhesive residue. Even from hairy skin, Leukofix can be removed with minimal discomfort.
Since Leukofix does not contain radiation-absorbing components, the adhesive plaster does not need to be removed for radiological examinations or radiation therapies. Moreover, the plaster does not undergo any chemical reaction with rubbers or plastics.
