Description
Leukopor is a particularly skin-friendly, hypoallergenic, and porous adhesive plaster made from a white non-woven polyester/viscose fabric. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is well-tolerated even by patients with very sensitive skin. Therefore, Leukopor adhesive plasters are the preferred choice for babies and the elderly.
Leukopor is breathable and allows water vapor to pass through. It can be removed from the skin painlessly and leaves no adhesive residues. Leukopor can also be removed from hairy skin almost painlessly, provided it is done slowly and in the direction of hair growth. Leukopor is easy to tear by hand and can be easily shaped on moving body parts.
Leukopor provides reliable fixation, even for extended periods. The plaster can be written on with a pen or marker and is water-repellent. Leukopor does not contain radiation-absorbing components and does not need to be removed during radiation therapy or radiological examinations. Furthermore, the plaster does not engage in a chemical reaction with rubbers or plastics.
