Description
Leukopor is a particularly skin-friendly, hypoallergenic, and porous adhesive plaster made from a white non-woven polyester/viscose film. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is well tolerated even by patients with very sensitive skin. Therefore, Leukopor adhesive plasters are the preferred choice for babies and the elderly.
Leukopor is air and moisture permeable. It can be removed painlessly from the skin and leaves no adhesive residues. Leukopor can also be removed from hairy skin almost painlessly, provided it is done slowly and in the direction of hair growth. Leukopor can be easily torn by hand and is also easy to shape on moving body parts. It provides reliable fixation, even for extended periods.
The plaster can be clearly written on with a pen or marker and is water-repellent. Leukopor does not contain radiation-absorbing components and does not need to be removed during radiation therapy or radiological examinations. Moreover, the plaster does not chemically react with rubbers or plastics.
