Description
Leukopor is a particularly skin-friendly, hypoallergenic, and porous adhesive tape made from a white non-woven polyester/viscose film. The hypoallergenic polyacrylate adhesive is well-tolerated even by patients with very sensitive skin. Therefore, Leukopor adhesive tapes are also the preferred choice for babies and the elderly.
Leukopor is air and vapor permeable. It can be removed from the skin painlessly and leaves no adhesive residue. It can also be removed from hairy skin with minimal pain if done slowly and in the direction of hair growth. Leukopor can be easily torn by hand and conforms well to moving body parts. It offers reliable fixation, even for longer periods. The tape can be easily written on with a pen or marker and is water-resistant.
Leukopor contains no radiation-absorbing components and does not need to be removed during radiation therapy or radiological examinations. Furthermore, the tape does not engage in any chemical reaction with rubber or plastics.
