Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive mass based on zinc oxide rubber provides good and long-lasting adhesion, even when the bandage is under significant tension.
Moreover, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive of Leukoplast is made air and water vapor-permeable through a special process. This prevents an airtight seal, prevents the skin from softening, and helps to avoid other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for use on patients with normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive bandage makes Leukoplast suitable for the fixation of all sizes of dressings and gauzes. The bandage is easy to unwind and can, despite its high tensile strength, be easily torn by hand. Leukoplast is water-resistant.
