Properties
Optiplaste-E is a longitudinally elastic bandage that is entirely made from natural fabrics (85% cotton and 15% viscose). The maximum stretch of the material is 60% (known as short stretch). Thanks to the woven chain threads, Optiplaste-E offers durable and powerful support and compression, where low resting pressure is coupled with high working pressure. With Optiplaste-E, the level of support or relief can also be precisely dosed. The material molds very well to individual body contours. Due to its strong adhesive strength and long-lasting elasticity, the bandage does not shift, even after extended use. The conventional zinc oxide rubber adhesive layer is applied in micro-porous strips. The air zones between the strips make the material breathable. This makes Optiplaste-E skin-friendly and comfortable. Optiplaste-E is easy to unroll and water-repellent. The bandage has a shelf life of 5 years.
