Description
The SAM XT tourniquet (blue) is the latest tourniquet, specifically developed for a quick and reliable constriction of the limbs. This tourniquet requires fewer turns of the windlass. When tightened, it provides an audible confirmation in the form of a ”click” when the strap is tight enough. It often occurs that there is too much slack in the strap.
The special SAM XT ‘Truforce’ buckle automatically locks the tourniquet at a predetermined amount of force, eliminating all slack in the tourniquet. By ”clicking”, tightening, and locking the tourniquet, a very effective device is created.
The automatic buckle makes the tourniquet very easy and quick to use for self-application. Self-application is particularly important for tactical units in police and defense.
