Description
CO2 extinguishers are suitable for extinguishing liquid fires (fire class B) and fires in live electrical equipment. The main advantage of a CO2 snow extinguisher is that the extinguishing agent (CO2) leaves no residue upon use. The CO2 gas suffocates the fire and then dissipates into the surrounding air. Consequently, it does not cause damage to sensitive equipment and materials. CO2 is therefore used in high-end electronic equipment where water-based extinguishing agents, such as spray foam, cannot be used.
Applications: high-voltage installations, computer rooms, laboratories, graphic industry kitchens, etc.
