These 3-volt batteries use Lithium Manganese Dioxide Technology, which lasts 5 times longer than regular alkaline batteries. The batteries should be replaced before the expiration date is reached. Zoll recommends using only high-quality batteries to ensure that no lives are needlessly lost.

How do you install the batteries?
Turn off the device and remove the cover on the back of the device. Place the new batteries in the designated compartment. When all batteries are correctly installed in the AED, the AED will notify you to restart the device. It is crucial that all batteries are replaced at once. Once all batteries have been replaced, press the button (microswitch). You will find this button on the back, behind the cover.
