Description
Leukostrip wound closure strips are made of 100% polyamide featuring a hypoallergenic adhesive layer, enabling a nearly painless wound closure. The material is elastic and stretches with any swelling that may occur. After the swelling has subsided, Leukostrip returns to its original shape.
By replacing sutures on the third postoperative day with a wound closure using Leukostrip, scar formation at the site of the incision is minimized, thus preventing an unsightly zipper effect as much as possible. Leukostrip can also be combined with subcutaneous or intradermal sutures or used as a supplement to staples.
Applications
