Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored adhesive bandage made from viscose fabric. The adhesive made from zinc oxide rubber provides a strong and long-lasting adhesion, even when the bandage is under significant tension.
Moreover, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive of Leukoplast has been made air and water vapor permeable through a special process. This prevents airtight sealing, avoids skin maceration, and helps to prevent other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for use on patients with normal skin. Its very high tensile strength makes Leukoplast suitable for securing all sizes of compresses and dressings. The bandage is easy to unwind and can be torn by hand, despite its strong adhesive properties. Leukoplast is water-repellent.
