Description
Leukoplast is a skin-colored plaster made from viscose fabric. The adhesive mass of zinc oxide rubber provides good and long-lasting adhesion, even when the plaster is under significant tension.
Moreover, the zinc oxide rubber adhesive of Leukoplast has been made air and water vapor permeable through a special process. This prevents airtight closure, prevents the skin from becoming macerated, and helps to avoid other skin irritations.
Leukoplast is particularly strong and versatile for use on patients with normal skin. The very high tensile strength of the adhesive plaster makes Leukoplast suitable for securing all sizes of compresses and dressings. The plaster is easy to unroll and can be torn off by hand with ease despite its strong adhesion. Leukoplast is water-resistant.
