Description
The Prestan family consists of 1 adult torso, 1 child torso, and 1 baby resuscitation mannequin with a CPR monitor. Each of these resuscitation torsos provides separate feedback on the correct frequency, compression depth, and positioning of chest compressions. The trainee learns to administer chest compressions with the proper force and speed. With the Prestan collection, it is possible to train multiple trainees at the same time and allow the trainee to experience the differences between adult, child, and baby resuscitation.
The Prestan resuscitation torsos provide immediate feedback through a resuscitation monitor and a clicking mechanism regarding the correct frequency, compression depth, and position of chest compressions. The trainee learns to perform chest compressions with the correct force and speed. The feedback monitor indicates, using colored lights, the compression depth and compression frequency. When the compression frequency is too low (below 100), the orange light will illuminate. With the correct compression frequency (between 100-120), two green lights appear. If the frequency exceeds 120 compressions, a flashing orange light is displayed.
