For applying functional bandages, in addition to great skill, good materials are a requirement. The traditional tape Leukotape classic is a non-elastic, highly adhesive tape that meets all specified requirements in every way.
Features
Leukotape classic is made from non-stretch, white cotton fabric. The tape has a strong adhesion and tensile strength. The zinc oxide rubber adhesive ensures excellent adhesion, both on the skin and on any skin-protective underlayer. Even under heavy load, the tape stays securely in place. The rigidity of the material provides a stabilizing effect, both mechanically and proprioceptively.
The outer side of the carrier material is impregnated and water-repellent. The plastic core of Leukotape classic has rounded edges, ensuring that it does not cut into the skin during unrolling.
Leukotape classic is, partly thanks to the lightly serrated edge, easily tearable lengthwise or widthwise by hand, making the use of scissors unnecessary. This tearability does not affect the tensile strength of the carrier material, allowing significant forces to be absorbed with Leukotape classic.
