Description
Disinfection of cuts, abrasions, and burns, as well as the skin for injections and blood transfusions. Pre- and post-operative disinfection of the surgical area. Can be applied directly from the bottle or using a cotton ball, tampon, or damp compress.
Deeper abrasions or cuts can be cleaned by first rinsing with Betadine Solution. It is best to cover the wound afterwards with Betadine Ointment Gauze or Betadine Plasters to protect against external contamination. Not to be used on large skin surfaces in cases of excessive thyroid function.
