Description
The powder extinguishers stand out, among other things, for their excellent extinguishing capacity. The extinguishers can be used universally for extinguishing solid fires, liquid fires, and gas fires (fire classes A, B, and C), with the exception of the metal fire extinguisher.
They can be employed at both high and very low temperatures. Additionally, extinguishing equipment that is live does not pose a danger.
However, one must take into account the collateral damage caused by extinguishing powder on electronic and precision mechanical equipment. Therefore, powder extinguishers should only be used in situations where the fire must be extinguished quickly and effectively, and where collateral damage is of secondary importance. They are also an excellent choice for outdoor locations, with frost resistance down to 20 degrees below freezing.
