Inspecting and maintaining first aid kits, AEDs, fire extinguishers and Evac Chairs takes time and requires a certain amount of knowledge and expertise. It is understandable that this time, knowledge and expertise is not always available in your company. ESE International therefore offers you the opportunity to outsource this to our professional inspectors.

In other words: let us take care of everything for you! After each inspection, an inspection form is created with the work carried out and is left with you if desired. ESE International also keeps records of the inspections carried out and we can send you an annual report. We also keep track of the planning for you and contact you once a year to make a new appointment.

First aid kits

The following actions are carried out during the first aid kit inspection:

• Cleaning the first aid kit
• Checking the old contents
• Replenishing the first aid kit
• Applying the inspection sticker

AED

The following actions are performed during the optical inspection:

• The electrodes and battery of the AED are checked for the expiration date
• The AED is checked for damage and other irregularities
• A self-test is performed on the AED

Evac Chair

The following actions are performed during the check:

• All parts of the Evac Chair are checked using an inspection report (IPR) and the IPR indicates whether parts need to be replaced or repaired. If repairs are necessary, this will be carried out in consultation with the contact person.
• Check whether the Evac Chair is still in the correct place in the building.
• The chair is tested on the stairs as is necessary during an evacuation.
• After the inspection, the contact person receives a copy of the findings and repairs that were noted by the employee of ESE International BV.
• The Evac Chair is always provided with an information sticker with the necessary information such as delivery date and serial number. This sticker offers extra space for the dates of the maintenance visits. In accordance with CE standards, all inspected Evac Chairs are registered. The inspection of/maintenance to the Evac Chair may and can only be performed by an employee of ESE International BV.

Fire extinguishers

The following actions are performed:

• The once-yearly inspection of the fire extinguishers present is performed in accordance with the applicable standards 2559, 2659 and 671-3 by REOB/VEBON certified service employees. ESE International also works in accordance with the applicable Certification scheme REOB 3.0 guideline for recognized maintenance companies.
• Specified reports are drawn up of all work performed.
• The report will, if necessary, be accompanied by advice with a cost estimate for any replacements, changes, additions and/or all matters of safety importance.
• ESE International is certified to carry out annual and extensive maintenance of fire extinguishers and hose systems. (portable fire extinguishers and fire hose reels with dimensionally stable hose)
